PA 300 Pet Trainer is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pet purchase ever. My coon hound has a strong tracking instinct and was hard to call off a scent. Rugged and water-proof is awesome! Now she tracks when it's time to track and returns on command.

How long will the stimulus last before the automatic safety-shutoff feature stops the stimulation for the PA 300?

Asked by: Micsaol
Hello, We have an 8-second safety shutoff feature. You may also want to check out our Canine COACH 360 as it is the updated version of the PA 300. You can view that product here: https://dtsystems.com/products/remote-trainers/canine-coach-360-e-collar-trainer-13.html Hope this helps.

Where is the battery located on collar and is there one in it upon purchase????

Asked by: Holliday5299
Hello, Yes, a 6v battery is included with purchase. It is located behind the slotted battery cover on the end of the collar. The cover is labeled with arrows pointing to an open, and a closed position. Please see this link for the instructions to replace the battery in the owner's manual here: https://dtsystems.com/media/wysiwyg/PetPal_PA300_Manual_with_Battery_Saver.pdf Hope this helps.

dos it help to control barking also?

Asked by: Be
Hello, The Canine Coach 360 can certainly be used to train a dog to not bark, as well as many other training possibilities. It is not an automatic "No Bark" collar though. Check out the video on our web page for the CC360 here: https://dtsystems.com/products/remote-trainers/canine-coach-360-e-collar-trainer-13.html Our No Bark (automatic bark sensing) Bark collars can be found at the link below: https://dtsystems.com/products/no-bark-trainers.html Hope this helps.

Which one is the gentle touch,I want my dog to stay in the yard but I done want to hurt him with these collars ,he is a golden retriever and he is six months old,so I want him to stay beside me and if he runs I want him to come back right away..

Asked by: Lori
Hello, The best way to condition your dog to an e-collar and a given command (such as "Here") is to start out on the lowest level possible, level 1. Go up in 1 level increments until you see the dog's ears perk up (usually this will be around level 5-6). You will then go up one level from there and that will be your "working level" for training the dog to the e-collar. Please watch our video on this subject of introducing the e-collar and obedience training on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PLguM5fafSWSqwF5yQZALtHP_WZoQM8kX0&v=9_ZFEFNp-18 Hope this helps.

I have a pet pal PA300 wont stay on lights up and starts to blink but shuts off right away bought 4 months ago no longer have teceipt what do I do

Asked by: Skunkbut
Hello, Sorry to hear you are having trouble. First you may want to replace the 9v battery in the transmitter remote and the 6v battery in the collar with Lithium batteries. They last longer and work best in the units. If that doesn't work, or if you do not want to take that option, contact us at (customerservice@dtsystems.com) and we will be glad to work with you on a possible warranty solution. Hope this helps.
