Quick Overview

The D.T. RDL 1209 Super Pro Remote Dummy Launcher (with Transmitter) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Training alone just got easier! Most of us end up training our dogs alone. The remote dummy launcher products from DT make it possible to truly throw marks for your dog without relying on anyone else for help. Being able to program up to 16 launchers on one single remote allows you to build up your system over time, and give your dog several marks if desired. Training retrievers most of the time, my RDL1209 is often used as a diversion bird in my training sessions as well. Not only is this a great price for a remote launcher, but its small and compact design make it the easiest remote operated dummy launcher to transport on the market! You could literally fit in in a small gym bag! My wingers could nto be transported without a truck or trailer in most cases. This is a great product to add to your "arsenol", and you will find it very convenient to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Launcher!! I bought two of these to help train my retrievers and i'm defiantly buying a third. Have had both of my launchers for over a year and had no problems. These launchers also help with introducing young pups to gunfire.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works each and every time Bought these for training my retriever for hunt tests. Disappointed in how far even the light loads send a bumper. Requires to much separation between marks. The beep the receiver makes its hard to hear at long distance and in the wind impossible. It shoots the bumper at to high of speed for the dog to pick up if your using these for marks much past 100 yards. Maybe if they made a larger bumper that was black and white with flags they could pick it up easier when it flies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Pro Remote Dummy Launcher I have owned one just over a year now! It is a must have! I will be buying another one in the future. If you have a Sporting Dog, you owe it to them! So, if your stuck on the fence about buying just buy it your Dog will love you for it!! P.S. Ridge makes a case that fits the launcher perfect I bought one at home depot for it just save the foam packaging!

Hello. I currently have the standard DT handheld dummy launcher and was wondering if it was possible to purchase the stand and electronics to make my current launcher into the Super Pro remote launcher? Estimate on cost of upgrading?

Asked by: jbowman25
Hello, Due to the production process and the way the remote dummy launcher is manufactured there is no way to convert and existing hand held launcher to a remote version. Hope this helps.

I need a replacement transmitter for my dr launchers. These devices do not tolerate any amount of moisture. MYbe you guys can improve on that  In the meantime I am dead in the water unless I get a new one  How and where do I order serial #B05767

Asked by: Ollie
Hello, The Remote Dummy Launcher remotes are water resistant, but (as stated in the Owner's Manual) if they are submerged in water, or exposed to salt/brackish water it will cause problems. You can order a new one from our website on the link below: They are easy to reprogram to your existing units, and instructions to reprogram are included in the Owner's Manual. I have included a link to the digital version of the Owner's manual here: Hope this helps.

I am having a lot of trouble getting the 22 blanks to fire.  I have three of these and a fourth one that is back ordered.  I oil the slides before every shot but I never know if it will fire the load.  It is like the firing pin is not quite long enough.

Asked by: Duck dunker
Hello, You can try not pushing in the .22 blank too deep, put it in the chamber, but not too deep, but just deep enough that when you close the launcher, the launcher itself will seat the .22 down when closing. Also make sure that the spring arm is fully rearward all the way back so it has the inertia to go forward and strike the blank with enough force. Finally make sure the launcher is fully supported in the ground with a stake, or the legs are pushed into the ground to make it very sturdy so the launching platform is solid and the firing pin will have a solid strike whenever it goes off. If this does not work, please contact us directly at and we will be glad to help out. Hope this helps.
