BL 709 Natural Flush Bird Launcher is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product. I would like it better if I could adjust the release mode, or adjust how high. I use my bird launcher everyday. I enjoy and like how my launcher works overall. I would like if there was a way to adjust the hight of the throw.

Does the bl 709 have a duck quack built in?

Asked by: Tmgsteve
Our beeper locator uses a loud beep sound to locate the unit. It does not have a duck quack sound.

I know this is rated for larger birds, but can it also be used for smaller birds - pigeons?

Asked by: Franklin
Hello, Yes, many folks use the 700 series for smaller birds in addition to larger birds. Some will put 2-3 Quail or more to simulate a covey rise. If you will only be using pigeons and smaller quail sized birds the 500 series might be a better choice as it is much lighter and more compact in size. Hope this helps.

709 model - can I order a second Remote Transmitter and use both? Or is it one at a time?

Asked by: Richard Sweet
Hello, You can order an add-on launcher for the 709. It is called a model 705 and the link to order from our website is here: If you want to order an additional transmitter/remote they can be found here: NOTE: Each transmitter/remote can be programmed to control up to 16 launchers. See the instructions here to program the transmitter/remote: Programming 1. Verify that the Bird Launcher is off. 2. Choose a number (1-16) on the Launcher Selector Knob of the Transmitter (optional: label the Launcher with the number for easy recognition). 3. Push and hold the red Power Button on the Remote Receiver of the Bird Launcher. Do not release the Power Button. 4. After approximately 6 seconds of holding the Power Button down, the Red LED light will flash 4 times. 5. While continuing to hold the red Power Button down, push either the “BIRD/NICK” button or the “BEEP/CONT” button on the Transmitter for approximately one second. 6. To indicate the unit has been programmed, the LED light on the Remote Receiver will flash 5 times and the Beeper/Locator horn will beep 5 times. 7. After programming confirmation, release the Power Button on the Remote Receiver. NOTE - Do not release the red Power Button until instructed to do so or the entire process will have to be repeated. Repeat the process from the beginning if the light does not blink 5 times and beep 5 times at the end of the programming. Hope this helps.

After a replacement BL709 transmitter, one I have is hardly been used and is not sending a signal so none of the 3  bird flusher i have will work. Bleeper works only.

Asked by: Siegfried
Hello, Sorry to hear about this. You may need to reprogram the transmitter to the units, and also replace the 9v batteries. One thing you can do to make sure the 9v batteries last longer is get Lithium 9v batteries. They will typically last 4-5 times longer than a standard 9v. Also make sure units are fully turned off when you finish using them (so they are not draining the batteries when not in use). It sounds like a battery issue, as the beeper will still work with a low battery, but not the servo arm to release the launcher. Check all of those things, and then you can reprogram the remote as well per the instructions below: When you first use your Bird Launcher or after you’ve replaced a battery, you must program your transmitter to correspond with your Natural Flush Bird Launcher. PROGRAMMING LAUNCHER/TRANSMITTER Preparations • Verify the Bird Launcher is Off. • Choose a number (1-16) on the Selection Dial of your Transmitter and a Bird Launcher for that Number. We suggest labeling your launcher for easy recognition. Programming • Hold the Magnet directly against the Red Mark (Magnet Indicator) on the top of the Receiver. Or press and hold the Power Button(Fig. On page 6). • After approximately 6 seconds of holding the Magnet or Power Button, the Red LED light will flash 4 times. • While continuing to hold the Magnet or Power Button, Press either the “Bird” or “BEEPER” on the transmitter for approximately a second. • To indicate the unit has been programmed, the LED light on the Receiver will flash3 times and the Beeper will beep. CAUTION: Program your unit while the Launcher is in the Open Position and Unloaded. Cover the cap before a TEST because of a loud Beeper sound. If none of this works, you can contact us directly at ( Hope this helps.
